Marissa Walch is a full-time, certified fitness professional and fitness enthusiast! She has worked in the fitness industry for more than a decade, and loves to share her knowledge and passion for living a healthier life with her clients. Marissa was the recipient of the Best of Baltimore, Fitness Trainer award for the Baltimore Sun and was runner-up for the Best of Baltimore, Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer award for Baltimore Magazine. Marissa teaches a variety of classes, leads large events and provides personal training to clients both in person and virtually. live well mini retreat
We have designed a special mini live well retreat on Sunday, January 12th at Woodberry Kitchen in their Gatherings event location for you to dive into yourself and our beautiful community which involves: yoga, meditation, breathing, vision board creation, acupuncture, nutrition and a magical spread of food and drink for lunch from Woodberry.
The morning will begin with coffee and tea and then we will start with some movement practices. The mini retreat will run from 9:30am-3pm and includes everything above, all you need is your yoga mat.
Marissa Walch will be guiding you through most of the day on your mat and during the vision board activity. live well retreat - Rehoboth Beach, DE
Join Marissa in Rehoboth Beach, DE for a wonderful weekend away (March 28-30, Friday and Saturday night) with friends or come alone and make life long connections over the weekend. Retreats can be a beautiful escape from reality, but also an exciting way to connect, refill your tank and dive deeper into yourself. This weekend will be filled with creative and yummy yoga practices combined with sound baths, meditations, all levels of practice and more surprise adventures built into the weekend. All yoga practices will take place in the home or if weather permits outside.
During the weekend when we are not practicing yoga we have included some magical activities that are optional as well as offering free time to adventure to the beach (walkable), shop in the area, check out the local attractions and more. We have a professional photographer joining us all weekend and she will be capturing the whole weekend for us plus offering private shoots at the beach if weather permits.
Teri (aka tPoz) is a Baltimore Wedding Photographer full time, but loves to join for yoga retreats to make sure we can keep our amazing memories with all of her beautiful shots.
The home we are renting has a two beautiful decks, a great back yard and large spaces to hang out together. We will keep the amazing food and drinks flowing all weekend as well in the home as we have our entire weekend catered by local restaurants and a special guest chef for our Saturday evening meal! Ayshe Bauer is the chef and owner of Lemons and herbs, LLC. She is a mama of two and loves being outside with her family when she’s not cooking. She meal preps for clients during the week and cooks for dinner parties on the weekends. She feels truly blessed to have her dream career, sharing her passion with amazing people. Join lululemon ambassadors Marissa and Nicky for a new run and yoga series at lululemon Harbor East - Maybe Running Will Help! They are set to guide you through a walk/run on Sunday August 4th and September 8th and then a yoga practice on Sunday August 18th and September 29th. There will be a huge event celebrating Mental Health Awareness day on Thursday October 10th combining all these elements and more in Hampden at the Penguin Room indoor location or outdoor on the patio if it’s nice at Whitehall Mill.
Show up for yourself, join our community and move with us! We will have special lululemon giveaways and opportunities to check out all the best gear. Snacks, drinks and more goodies will be provided after each event. Show up early and be sure to bring your yoga mat for the days we are practing yoga in the store. All runs will take place outside leaving from the lululemon store in Harbor East in August and September, and yoga will be inside the store. Yoga on a Yacht
We're teaming up with Baltimore yoga instructor Marissa Walch for Yoga on a Yacht! Grab your mat and climb on board for a Sunday morning flow. This 90-minute cruise aboard Raven will take you through the Baltimore Inner Harbor and out to the Key Bridge. We'll have a 45-minute class followed by time to hang out, sip a coffee or mimosa, and take in the sights. Beverages will be available for purchase from our full-service bar. We cruise rain or shine as Raven has a beautiful, covered main deck perfect for yoga if the weather doesn't go our way.
Yoga on the Pier in Canton
Yoga On The Pier! Help B’more SUP celebrate our brand new Canton location with a $15 Yoga on the Pier class with Marissa Walch. You are welcome to join for a paddle after class with Jessie Benson. You can sign up for just yoga or both! Please bring your own mat, sunblock and water.
We are based out of the New Lighthouse Point Marina and have on-site parking, bathrooms and even a floating cocktail bar for post-paddle refreshments! Meet in front of where Bo Brooks used to be and we will walk out to the pier.
Yoga by the Falls - Epic Flower Flow with dandelions flower stand
Join Marissa Walch at Whitehall Mill in Hampden to celebrate the new outdoor patio with a summer yoga series - Yoga by the Falls! Classes will take place from 5:15-6pm every Thursday with a new partner each week. You will book class online at www.marissawalch.com for each week. There is a beautiful indoor location in the updated Penguin Room so if we have bad weather no need to worry, class will just move inside.
Thursday July 18th - We welcome local flower company dandelions flower stand. You may have seen her beautiful flowers outside of Pitango or Order and Chaos and now she is coming to join us at yoga! Join for an all levels yoga class followed by a create your own bouquet experience after class. You will get to pick your flowers and then Dani will help you wrap up your bouquet to take home after class!

SUP Yoga @ Capital SUP
Use the Annapolis waterways as your gym! Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) is a fun and relaxing way to be out on the water! Not only is it a great workout that builds core strength and balance, but a great time with awesome people!
Stand Up Paddle Board yoga will challenge your core and rejuvenate your spirit! Imagine the sun on your face, a gentle breeze blowing across your skin, as you lift yourself into upward facing dog, or float weightlessly in savasana, fingers dipping into the cool water during your final relaxation.
Classes are open to all levels, whether you are new to paddling, fitness, yoga or all of the above. Basic paddle instruction will be given at the start of each class.
Classes are 60 minutes long on water. Each event is about 90 minutes total to account for check-in, safety briefing, launching, class & return time!
Spin @ UAPC
This is not your normal Spin class! Sure you will sweat! We take the experience of our Personal Training and put it into our Spin classes. You can expect Variety, Goal Setting and Testing days in these intense classes!

Boot Camp @ UAPC
Join Marissa for Boot Camp at Under Armour Performance Center with a waterfront view. This class is designed to challenge your body and work all your muscles. This class will be indoor and outdoor while using all different kinds of gym equipment. All levels are welcome.
